Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
Dancefarm Corporation, which operates Ballet Closet Global Partners (the “Company”, “we”), processes the personal information of our wholesale partners in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and related laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can contact us.
1. Purpose of processing
We process personal information only for the following purposes:
- Reviewing partner applications and creating and managing partner (buyer) accounts
- Receiving and processing wholesale orders, issuing Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices and packing lists, and handling payment and shipping
- Export customs clearance and record keeping required by Korean law
- Answering questions sent through the Q&A board and e-mail
- Sending notices about your orders and account
- Sending news about new products and offers, only if you have agreed to receive them
- Keeping the service secure and preventing misuse
2. Personal information we collect
Partner application and profile: contact person name and job title, owner or representative name, e-mail address (login ID), phone number, company and store name, country, store address, online shop and Instagram addresses, type of business, how you heard about us, and the optional information you choose to give (brands of interest, expected order size, main customers, business registration or VAT number, message).
Orders and shipping: delivery addresses (including the contact name and phone number you enter), order details, remarks, and invoice and shipment records.
Questions: the content of messages you send us.
Collected automatically: sign-in records, IP address (stored only as a one-way hash to limit repeated applications), and cookies or browser storage described in section 9.
We collect this information directly from you through this dashboard, by e-mail, or from documents you send us. We do not collect sensitive information or national identification numbers.
3. Legal basis
We process the information in section 2 because it is needed to review your application and to enter into and perform a wholesale contract with you, at your request (Article 15(1)(4) of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea), and to comply with legal obligations (Article 15(1)(2)). Marketing e-mails are sent only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time in My Account.
4. Retention period
When you close your partner account, you can no longer sign in, but we keep the records of our business with you (partner information, orders, invoices, shipping and export documents, and Q&A messages) so that we can handle follow-up questions, claims and accounting. If you ask us to delete this information, we will review your request and delete it, except for information that Korean law requires us to keep.
Information that Korean law requires us to keep is stored for the following periods:
- Order, invoice and payment records: 5 years (Framework Act on National Taxes)
- Export declaration and related trade documents: 5 years (Customs Act)
- Sign-in records: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
Applications that are not approved are kept until you ask us to delete them.
5. Destruction
When we delete personal information (at your request or when it is no longer needed), electronic files are deleted so that they cannot be restored, and paper documents are shredded. Information that must be kept by law is stored separately from other information until its period ends.
6. Provision to third parties
We do not sell or provide your personal information to third parties, except:
- Korea Post (EMS) and freight forwarding companies in Korea — recipient name, delivery address and phone number — to deliver your order
- Korea Customs Service (UNI-PASS) — your company name and address — for export declaration, as required by the Customs Act
